In 1966 the Pinin Farina Styled Giulia Sprint Spider (dubbed the series 1) achieved fame in the Dustin Hoffman film The Graduate.

In 1970 the series 2 Alfa Romeo Spider(which this is a fine example of ) was launched.

 2 litre twin cam engine develops 131BHP, mated to a beautiful 5 speed gearbox,  limited slip diff at the rear.

And with the Pinin Farina beautiful design, this made it cutting edge in it's time.
